I was extremely hesitant to work with let alone pay a business coach that I knew on a more personal level from a few podcasts and virtual meetings. Saje not only had a good idea in terms of what we needed to do, but she also knew exactly who we needed to hire. She was very clear that Emily was the right person for us. Since I do zero research almost ever and she does a ton, naturally I trusted her despite feeling like it was a waste of money.

Emily was patient but unwilling to buy into the bullshit I kept trying to spew that fed the narrative that “I was too busy, I was overwhelmed, I was tired.” Emily called me out on my own self-sabotaging behaviors in every session. I resented her then because she asked me week after week to see my potential, my voice, my innate gifts. I resented it because I didn’t see myself in that way at all and her encouragement made me feel like a fraud in myself. I am truly grateful for her now.

Let me be clear, Emily is not a therapist or counselor, she was my coach for my business and a woman I was friendly with through social media.
